Wine Therapy: A Treatment With Ancient Origins

The efficacy of the grapes and its derived products depend from the high quantity of polyphenols contained in it, in its black grapes the concentrations are higher. The polyphenols are very powerful anti-oxidants, effective in contrasting the toxic action of the free radicals, that cause the ageing and the degenerative diseases such as arteriosclerosis, tumours, etc.

The polyphenols of the grapes protect, reinforce and regenerate the collagen and elastin fibres contained in the cutaneous tissues: here rises the idea to use the grape and its precious derived products for the cosmetics, above all the must, that before the fermentation does not develop any alcoholic gradation, but contains an high concentration of biotechnological active polyphenols.

We offer to our Guests the grape care according to the ancient tradition of the Asburgic Nobility, enriched with the rigorous choice of the quality of the row materials used.
The treatments made for the face and the body exploit the powerful anti-oxidant and regenerating action of the polyphenols contained in the grapes.

The grapes come from the best secular vineyards of the Nebiolo, addressed to the wine-making of the valuable Barolo, selected by prestigious wine brands, as guarantee of seriousness and professionalism. The wine maker of the wine brand provides to separate the must and its derived and to preserve it in a specially cooled environment, in order to being able to use them not only in autumn, but during all the year.

Besides being the only wine SPA&Beauty Farm to use precious musts for the wine therapy, we introduced, as exclusive, the use of vapour baths with Nebiolo must, treatment that differentiated it from any other SPA in the world.

The wine therapy is not a new frontier for the Wellness or a trend or a style. Its origins are ancient and dated back to the Greek-Roman age; during the following centuries, this wine culture contaminated other populations of northern Europe in such a way that the Asburgic nobility transformed it in a rooted tradition (traubenkur).
